Mercury HQ & Mercury Mexico Seek ISO Registration
The Mercury Corporation seeks to be registered entirely in ISO 9001:2000 in 2006.
In 2000, Minnesota set the standard by registering ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 14001. Since then, Mercury
has seen ISO and its continuous improvement principles as a tool to realizing overall quality and
customer satisfaction.
In 2004, Mercury again set out to better its reputation and quality by preparting the corporate
headquarters in New York and facility in Mexico. Both hope to use the standard as a tool for
improvement and assurance for customers that they receive the same Mercury quality no matter
the place of origin.
Currently, Mercury is on target to seek registration in the first quarter of 2006. By then,
the entire corporation should be registered under the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
