Mercury Adds In-House Machining Capability
October 1, 2008
In an effort to create a more verticle solution to the customer, Mercury has added in-house
machining capability.
In Q3 of 2008 Mercury has added their first Verticle Machining Center to their production
capabilities. The new Haas VF5/40-XT will help meet customer obligations quicker with faster
turn-around and design options.
"This machine opens our capability to produce short or long run production parts with the
control and delivery to our customer," says Kevin Kowalcyk, Tool Engineer.
The machining center is the first addition of its kind to Mercury's capabilities, and it is
just the beginning. It further demonstrates Mercury's committment towards providing the
customer with the best over-all solution.
