Additional Laser Capability Gives Mercury Leading Edge.

Mercury has announced the addition of three new laser centers to production.
Three lasers have been added to manufacturing locations in Hammondsport, NY, and Faribault,
MN. Two Cinncinati lasers and one Trumpf laser give additional capacity to cut up to 1"
steel plate and many other dimensions quicker and more efficiently than ever before.
"The quick turnaround for short runs and prototyping help round out Mercury's capabilities
to meet the customer and provide a competitive solution," says Ed Jackson, Production
Manager. "In addition, it allows us to do intricate work that used to take many specialized
tools to complete."
This marks the 14th year Mercury has been producing with lasers and the first for the
Minnesota Division.
